Joe Don Rooney won a $50,000 check for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt after placing first in the inaugural Facebook Hole-In-One Challenge at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament.

The charitable event near Carmel California gave 32 celebrities two shots on the par-3 seventh hole. Joe Don, actor Andy Garcia, and Wayne Gretsky advanced to the finals after coming closest to the hole. Each had one shot to get a hole-in-one for the million dollars. While no one was able to sink a shot for the grand prize. Joe Don came the closest, and took home the $50,000 check for Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt.
