I have lots of outstanding Rascal Flatts concert memories, but CMA Fest 2016 stands out the most. I had won a soundcheck experience thru the fan club that year. I waited in line way ahead of time with the hopes of getting up in front during soundcheck. It was hot and humid like most Nashville summers but none of that mattered because I was seeing my absolute favorite band! When the time came, I was lucky enough to be front and center during soundcheck. They sang Rewind (one of my absolute favorite songs) and an acapella version of Happy by Pharrell Williams!! The whole band joined them and I’ll never forget how amazing they sounded singing that! Gary’s voice is so powerful and to be that close to the stage and hear him sing without music was just something I’ll never forget. ♥
