What’s one thing that sets you apart from other Rascal Flatts fans? I know I’m a New Yorker, but listening to Rascal Flatts always put me in my country feels. Their music brings me to my “happy place” and reminds me of the simpler times of my life and always keeps me humble to where I came from. I work for EMS so whenever I’m not taking care of critical patients, I’m blasting Rascal Flatts in the fire house or in my ambulance. It’s just a way to unwind and relax for me.

Tell us your favorite Rascal Flatts related story: I remember when I was maybe 16 years old and I was just learning how to drive. My dad took me out in his work van and he told me I needed to focus on the task at hand. He said, “Taylor, if you can drive backwards you can drive forwards”. Naturally, I plugged in my iPod and started playing “Backwards” by Rascal Flatts at the highest volume possible, sung every single word, and mastered driving in reverse. My dad had a huge smile on his face and laughed the whole time. I’ll never forget that day.
