Back in 2006, I met my friend Lacy at the start of our Freshmen year of highschool. We immediately bonded over a mutual love of Rascal Flatts and said that one day we would see Rascal Flatts together. We both ended up moving and lost touch. We reconnected over Facebook almost a year ago. When I saw that Rascal Flatts would be playing close by, I immediately thought of her and within a few hours we had planned a trip to see Rascal Flatts together. It was amazing seeing her again for the first time after 12 years apart. We even made shirts to mark the occasion! The concert was on March 17 and was beyond what I ever imagined. We were front and center! I think we were the only ones there dancing, singing, and screaming our heads off, but it was so much fun. Lacy even got Jay’s guitar pick and a set list! We already have plans to do it again. Thank you Rascal Flatts for an amazing show and a great friendship.❤
