Jay and wife Allison, a former Miss Tennessee and a current CMT personality, welcomed their second child yesterday, son Dylan Jay DeMarcus.

Dylan was born in Nashville, Tenn., at 4:02pm, weighing in at 7 pounds and 11 ounces at 20 ½ inches long. Mom and baby are doing fine and will be home soon.

Dylan joins sister Madeline Leigh who was born December 17, 2010.

Although Jay was in Detroit for a Rascal Flatts performance Friday, he flew to Nashville just in time to welcome his son into the world. He returned to Detroit hours later for the show — in his hospital scrubs and with an ID bracelet still on his wrist, as seen in the picture below from Friday nights show.
